MALANA KULLU-A WONDERFUL VILLAGE OF HIMACHAL PRADESH





ABOUT
  Malana village is located in kullu distt. Of himachal pradesh. This is an ancient  village of Himachal Pradesh.The people of this village belong to true Aryans.This is only village in India who have his own Democratic System. They have there own rules and regulations.

HISTORY OF THE (Accourding to locals )
         It is believed that this is the oldest
        democratic system in the world
       Residents of Malana village  are the genes  of Aryans and they got their independence during the Mughal reign when the Emperor Akbar walked to the village in order to cure an ailment that he was afflicted.
          After having been successfully cured he stating that all the inhabitants of the valley would never be required to pay tax. An another tradition suggests that Malana was founded by remnants of Alexander the Great's.
          when his army visited to this place a few members of his army stopped there and never went.After passage of time it is turned in to a village in having their own Democratic system.

       Local people claim it is only oldest Democracy in the world.

    (English and Hindi)
    Hindi is the primary language of the peoples who live in the village .
 
   Few people of the  village also understand English language.

        1. Village has thire own Democratic System. The rules and regulations of the village is decided and followed  by themselves.
        2.Another thing which is famous of this village  world wide is Weed. Weed quality of this village is top class in the world.
Bcouse of that this village is famous world wide and gained popularity and recognition.

      This village is yet not well connected with roads you can reach to the village on feet from a few kilo meters away.
